This little rarity would have to undoubtably be the holy grail for Mortification/Lightforce collectors. With only 50 copies ever made, plus being nearly 20 years old, it is quite the rarity. It if it wasnt for the fact that this demo was mentioned on the "1986-1989" album it would probably be totally unheard of today. I am indeed therefore blessed to have been able to listen to this demo.
When reviewing this demo it needs to be taken into consideration that this is Steve & Co's first attempt at recording and it gives the impression the band were keen to get their music out. As always with Steve's music a strong presentation of the gospel is offered. The music is raw and energetic, not as heavy as anything else Steve has done since.
Those who have heard the two tracks from this demo on "86-89" will know what to expect from this release. Showcased on this demo are some cool guitar solo's, funky bass lines, and a drum solo thrown in for good measure.

Hmm...
Let's say it's a good thing there's only 50 copies of this and Steve still has a bunch. I'm still glad I have a copy even though it's horrible because I'm a crazy collector, but I wouldn't advise going all-out to get a copy. Seriously, this is not good. The music isn't terrible and the singing (done by a woman) doesn't sound horrible, but it just doesn't fit the music AT ALL. It sounds like battlezone with very misplaced vocals. This was definitely before Steve found his sound.
