primitive rythm machine. I have to say this is one of my favorites. One of the reasons i love this one is because of how different it is. I swear that if it wasnt steve on vocals i would think it was a different band. It has a good mix of fast thrash and some songs are a med speed death/thrash. Mophibisheth is the best one(in my opinion) its just got that beat i cant resist. A great album worth buying at fukll price. I give it a 5 bye and god bless to all.

"Primitive Rhythm Machine" sees the band exploring more of a thrash metal style, while bringing back a little more of the grind vocals. A very percussive, "tribal" type feel can be found on this release as well (think Sepultura's "Chaos A.D."). Shorter, tighter song structures dominate this release, and while the production is great, the overall short length of the album is the only drawback for me.

A very original release. Mortification combines their thrash metal, death metal and their groove with a more tribal feel to the songs, making them sound more raw and almost ugly... And it works perfect! The growls are also back, mixed with the harsh yells. This album is Steve Rowe recording with lots of different friends, and one would imagine that to be a weak spot (having so many people contributing to the record), but do not let that fool you, because it really is a feast both musically and lyrically.
