Mortification's first "official" album. The sound here is pretty much thrash with death metal vocals. A good debut, but the band would move on to better things.

This album has some quite good songs. The grunt from Satans Doom in the beginning is really good. The most grunts are by Steve Rowe, but some are by the other bandmembers, like in the beginning of No Return. This album has mostly long Death/Thrash metal songs, but has 2 short Grindcore songs, Turn and The Majestic Infiltration of Order, the last one is one of the most famous songs of Mortification, that is because of the lyrics, 2 words: 'God Rules!'

A great deal of the songs here are taken from the Break the Curse album, but the brutality is more precent and in-your-face now. The newer songs like "Bathed in Blood" and "No Return" are very fast and the most aggressive songs Mortification has released at this point in their carrier.
